Jesse Marlow

Combining an eye for the decisive moment with an elegance lacking in many of his street photography peers, Melbourne-based Jesse Marlow reminds us that art can be clever and beautiful. A swan replicating its likeness on a sign, a skinny old man walking past a wall of bodybuilder posters – Marlow is there, his focus sharp.

Search out his work as part of the current Oculi: Terra Australis Incognita exhibition at Monash Gallery of Art, or in the pages of Hijacked 3. In April, Marlow will also show his newest collection of work Don't Just Tell Them, Show Them at Anna Pappas Gallery.
