On February 25 last year, Melbourne photographer Zo Damage asked herself a question: could she photograph a band a day for an entire year? A series of follow-up questions followed: is this idea crazy? Would she have enough energy to follow through? Are there even enough Tuesday gigs to last 52 weeks? Nearly a year later and we have the answer to all of these questions: ‘Yes’.
To celebrate the conclusion of the 365 Day Project, Damage is hosting an exhibition of her photos at Melbourne’s Old Bar in March, which will feature seven nights of live music from some of the bands featured in the project. Damage is also publishing a book about the experience titled The Damage Report. Look out for it at the exhibition, or on her personal website.
Event details: the 365 Celebration is a seven-day exhibition and event to be held at The Old Bar and Old Bar Gallery March3-5 2017.
