DIY Waterproof Jeans

Winter may be coming, and with it all the precipitation that makes it so bad for cycling (or generally being outdoors). But it turns out there’s a way to stay dry without wearing a plastic jumpsuit or refusing to leave the house.

With little more than a can of Driza-Bone Reproofer Wax, a hairdryer and these instructions from The Thousands, you can transform your old jeans from sponge-like to basically water-resistant. Dryness never looked so good.

You might know of The Thousands as those darn kids telling you which bars to hit up in capital cities across the country. But, as we’ve written before, they’re also the kids telling you which DIY projects to take on in your spare time. Thanks, kids.
