Olafur Eliasson - he who built waterfalls under New York bridges and put the sun inside the Tate Modern has unveiled a new project.

It's called LittleSun and it's just that: a small, affordable L.E.D. lantern that powers-up using sunlight.

For every four hours of charge LittleSun gives five hours of light, making it possible for people to work, read and socialise by night without depending on a grid. It was recently unveilled at the World Economic Forum and is planned for release in June 2012.
