Next time your parents tell you video games are rotting your brain, show them Snakisms, a smartly designed time-waster than merges classical philosophy with the old school mobile phone game Snake.
Designed by artist Pippin Barr, each level applies one of 21 different philosophies to the original Snake setup. In the Asceticism level, for instance, you lose when your snake eats a dot, while in the Determinism level your snake controls itself.
The lessons (or jokes, really) are more or less one-liners, so we won’t spoil them for you. Beyond telling you that they’re quite fun. And educational too, Dad.
