Google Street View is taking its mission to document the entire world seriously. Fresh from giving us a ride down the Amazon, with their most recent project they have journeyed to the Antarctic so we can get 360 degree tours of the huts used by Robert Scott and Ernest Shackleton when they made their respective tilts at the South Pole.
Preserved in their original state by New Zealand's Antarctic Heritage Trust, all the furniture, tools and clothes used by the explorers remain on display and in their original configurations. Browse around for a while. It was 100 years ago that Scott embarked on his doomed mission, but not a thing has changed.
