A Weekend at The Shack

In the latest volume of the mag we wrote about how to make camping food that doesn’t suck. We needed to find a nice, wild-looking place to photograph the piece, and The Shack in Kyneton, Victoria turned out to be the perfect place.

If you’re looking for weekend getaway this summer, we can highly recommend it. It’s situated on a one-acre block, and offers visitors a variety of accommodation options, including a mid-century caravan, a (refurbished) 1920s tram, and a bungalow shack. There’s even a tiki bar on site, for anyone looking to get a little festive.

You can make a booking enquiry through Airbnb. If you’d like to find out more about the place, you can watch this short film by our pals at Spaces, or head to The Shack’s Instagram for more pics.
