FRANKIE MAGAZINE ACCOUNT MANAGER - VICTORIA

We are on the hunt for an experienced account manager to join the award-winning frankie magazine team to look after our lovely Victorian-based clients and source new business across print and digital platforms.

You will be responsible for generating revenue into frankie magazine’s brand assets so a proven ability to deliver on sales targets goes without saying. You’ll be working closely with the National Advertising Manager who will guide and mentor you in your new role.

Ideally, you will have:
• Prior print and online media sales experience working with agencies and direct 
  clients (3+ years)
• An ability to conceptualise and present media solutions that are on brief, on time 
  and on the money!
• Exceptional account and relationship management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Be a team player as you’ll be working closely with the editorial and marketing teams

This is a full-time position based literally metres away from some of Melbourne’s best coffee spots. We can offer a lovely, collaborative work environment with a happy team. Oh, and an attractive salary for the right person, too.

BUSINESS/FINANCE ANALYST

frankie press is an award-winning media company with offices in Melbourne and the Gold Coast. Our portfolio includes frankie magazine and its brand extensions, Smith Journal and Slow Living. We have an exciting opportunity for a talented finance professional with a strategic mindset to join the team at frankie press’ headquarters in Melbourne.

With reporting lines to the General Manager and CFO, your focus will be on providing commercial insight, analysis and recommendations that will drive and improve business performance.

You’ll oversee day-to-day financial control and deliverables – general ledger, payables, receivables, payroll, budgets, forecasts, monthly management accounts and board reports. This is a hands-on role leading a small finance administration team based at our Gold Coast office. frankie press is part of listed media company Pacific Star Network so you’ll also be providing broader support to the group finance team.

Skills and experience required:
• CPA/CA qualification with a minimum of 3-4 years’ accounting experience
• A working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP
• A strong understanding of accounting concepts
• Experience working in the media, preferably in publishing
• Ability to see the big picture
• Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
• Advanced excel skills
• Ability to analyse and effectively communicate financial performance to managers to influence decisions
• Strong people leadership skills, ideally with experience managing a remote team
• Superior time management skills 
• Be a team player
