The west is getting wild again. Matt Pierce moved from Kansas to west coast Portland Oregon where, in a little shop behind his tiny, 103-year-old house, he continues the tinkering and toiling in leather and wood craft that he started whilst living back in Wichita, on Woodrow and Faulkner Streets.
Through his Wood & Faulk website, Matt sells his handmade bags, belts, camera straps, and more (his campfire stool is particularly terrific).
He also documents his creative process, and the exploits of like-minded new frontiersmen, in his regularly updated blog. Soldier on, tinker tailor.
