With the motto 'Time has its own time' sitting in the window, Sutton Clock Shop on New York's Upper East Side harks back to a defiantly pre-digital age.
Dealing solely in clocks and barometers (of the cogs, springs and screws kind) Sutton is a father-to-son business where the clock-filled walls seem almost suspended in time, curiously unaltered since the shop's founding in the late '60s.
Watching the remarkably soothing video, we can't help but feel (in a world where time often seems to be slipping away from us) reassured that there are still people cultivating the steady, impassive witness to history that is the analogue timepiece.
