Well perched

10 May by george

This snazzy piece of environmental architecture is made entirely with natural materials, can house four people, and has just the right touch of '70s wood-panelled oomph.

Designed by Sussex-based firm Blue Forest, ecoPerch is the type of retreat that you'd imagine Roger Moore's James Bond retiring to after a long day fighting Russians.

The house fits on eight by five metres of land, can be constructed in five days and is expected to last for around 15 years without too much up keep. More details here.
