Behind every great woman there's a great man, so let's spare a second for designer Katie Katzenmeyer's husband Andy. While his wife designs shelving made from industrial iron piping, Andy is the "muscle and free labour" behind the scenes.

But it's all for the good, because look what they make together. Inspired by an old factory loft they once lived in, which had exposed piping everywhere, the shelves are made from plumbing materials and scrapyard junk and can fit onto walls just about anywhere. Good idea, right?
