Manastash proves two things: your camping outfit needn't be boring, and hemp and fleece can look way better than hacky sack hippie drab.
Started in Seattle in 1994, the Japanese brand makes outdoor wear from recycled hemp and fleece (and even recycled plastic, when possible). And rather than relying simply on their materials' functionality or eco-friendliness for appeal, they design garments that are an eye-popping mix of preppie plaids, reindeer prints, and spacesuit shiny surfaces. You may want to go to the mountains more often just as an excuse to wear them.
