Unless you count email signatures, not many of us have letterheads these days. Online curator Shaun Usher has gone ahead and collected a whole heap together anyway and we're quite glad he has.
How else would we know what Muhammad Ali's stationery looked like circa 1970? Or that Charles Manson took time out of his busy being-a-murderous-loony schedule to produce his own lettered logo? Or that Johnny Cash had the most understated letterhead ever? There are historical examples to gawk at too, but we prefer to think of Letterheady as an opportunity for celebrity psychoanalysis. Printed pieces of A4 can be seriously revealing.
