In early 2005, a friend of David Byrne's told the Talking Heads frontman she missed hearing what he played in his office. In April that year he started his online radio show.

Somewhat surprisingly there's no talk on the show, just three-to-four hours of excellent, often obscure music. The playlist is updated monthly and centred around a particular theme, be it Halloween, new music, classical or Japanese. Seven years on it's not just Dave's friend who'd miss it if it were gone.
