You have to hand it to MONA owner David Walsh. Every time you think he's done the undoable he comes along with something new, unheard of and utterly incredible.
Witness: Synaesthesia, a weekend-long, 400-person festival held within MONA's cavernous halls, where the already pretty overawing art on and around the walls will be complemented by the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, an entirely new lighting scheme from John Rayment, over 100-musicians and performers hidden around the place and a fully-catered custom menu from the MONA chefs. It's happening on November 3 and 4, and will set you back $605. But, really, what price can you put on being able to taste colour?
