Swishwiffing stamps

21 Feb by nadia

If ever an author deserved to be on a postage stamp it's the flushbunking, swizzfiggling, lickswishy genius Roald Dahl.

The writer might have turned down an honourable Order of the British Empire (OBE), but we reckon he'd take this honour from Britan's Royal Mail

The post people released a set of stamps in tribute to the storyteller last month, which feature classic illustrations by his longtime collaborator Quentin Blake. The set includes Fantastic Mr Fox, Matilda, The Twits, The Witches, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, James and the Giant Peach and The BFG. British pen pals: please send us some snail mail.
