While most magazines stick to covering one thing (food, sneakers, motorboats) every issue of The Thing Quarterly is a new thing altogether.

Past issues include a deck of playing cards, a shower curtain and, most recently, a travel wallet by Glaswegian artist David Shrigley.

Issue 19 is a terrific embodiment of the Turner Prize-shortlisted master doodler's deadpan humour. It contains: a leather travel wallet (featuring credit card slots and interior slip pockets) emblazoned with the artist's distinctive handwriting, as well as a passport book with Shrigley drawings about travel, and handy double-sided phrase cards in English, with messages including: "Please Help Me" and "Hey You Light My Pipe".
