For one of Australia's most forward-thinking, singular electronic outfits, there's not nearly enough buzz around Sydney lads: Seekae.
With a sound that bounds nimbly from glitch-hop throwdown to ambient soundscape to oddly affecting pop, they're one of those rare bands who are equally at home on your bedroom stereo as they are tearing the roof off a music festival.
Coming off their superb, chameleonic sophomore album, +Dome, Seekae are embarking on a six-date tour of the Australian east coast this August and September.
Seekae tour dates:
Melbourne: Wed Aug 29, 8pm and Fri Aug 31, 8.30pm (sold out) at The Corner Hotel. Tickets $22.50 + bf.
Brisbane: Sat Sept 1, 8pm at The Zoo. Tickets $25 + bf.
Sydney: Thurs Sept 6, 7.30pm; Fri Sept 7, 7.30pm and Sat Sept 8, 7.30pm at The Basement. Tickets: $25 + bf.
