School of Life (ticket giveaway)

09 Jul by luke

In 2008, Alain de Botton, philosopher extraordinaire of the modern age, decided to put a career spent considering the contours of the well-lived life into practice by founding The School of Life in central London. Bringing together some of the finest philosophical and literary minds in Britain, its MO was simple: to teach people how to live wisely amidst the ambiguities of a secular era.

Now, for the first time in Australia, The School of Life is coming to the Sydney Opera House. This Sunday July 15 at 4pm, British philosopher John Armstrong, BBC commentator Tom Chatfield, climate activist Anna Rose and cultural commentator Gretel Killeen will be running sessions that cover the questions you always wished they answered at school: how to talk to others, how to care less about money, how to make a difference and how to be happy.

Tickets are $30 from the SoH Box Office, who have also kindly provided a double pass to give away. Send your name and address This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to enter.
