We somehow made it through the stupid season and into the New Year, now it's time to take a deep breath and dive headfirst into the summer festival stuff.

Laneway Festival is to the normal summer music festivals kinda what Smith is to your average men's magazine (if we do say so ourselves). Although Laneway definitely has the tech leap on us, with its own radio station and Facebook do dahs. 

Like a great stinky cheese Laneway has been getting better with each passing year - and this year's no exception. Bands range from 'pretty damn good' to 'lose-your-shit-freaking-out awesome', such as Toro Y Moi, Geoffrey O' Conor, Jonti, M83, Total Control, Twin Shadow and Girls.
