Let's face it: Steve Buscemi isn't the most likely of leading men. Long relegated to the role of 'the weird guy' or 'the loner' or (in Con Air) 'the creepiest man in America', it took the good folk at HBO to realise that hidden under that "funny looking" (to quote Fargo) exterior there was one of the better actors currently doing the Hollywood rounds.

So we have Boardwalk Empire. It's quite possibly the best thing Buscemi has ever done and about to enter its third season in the U.S. on September 16. We're also pretty excited about the imminent release of the second season on DVD in Australia today (September 5). If you're yet to to get to grips with the Prohibition Era in Atlantic City, well it's not too late to start. Nucky would expect nothing less.
